Ngawang Lobsang

Ngawang Lobsang became a monk at age 7, entering Key Monastery in North India. At age 19, he moved to Gaden Shartse Monastery in South India and received a masters degree equivalent in Buddhist Philosophy. He has received teachings from some of the most respected scholars of Gaden Shartse such as late H. E. Sharpa Choeje Lobsang Nyima, H. E. Khensur Lati Rinpoche, and H. E. Khensur Jampa Yeshe. He has also received teachings from H. E. Khensur Konchok Tsering, Geshe Phuntsok Gyaltsen, and Geshe Thupten Tenzin (Gyuto Lama Umze Rinpoche). Ngawang’s excellent command of English allows his students to access aspects of Buddhist philosophy which are not always easy to understand.
