$10 General Admission; $8 Early Bird Admission

5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Join Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D., for a special talk on Finding Meaning in Loss, an exploration of Buddhist understandings about consciousness and death. Although we all try to avoid loss, it comes to us all. Because we try so hard to keep loss at bay, we are often unprepared when we experience it. However, if we are willing to face loss directly, it can offer us some of the deepest insights into ourselves that life has to offer us. In this talk, Isa will offer some strategies for navigating this profound experience so that you can benefit from the teachings it has to offer you.

Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D. is the Founding Director of the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, a school for consciousness studies in Berkeley, CA. Isa is also the creator of the spiritual counseling model, Depth Hypnosis, and author of two books, Coming to Peace and Return to the Great Mother. In addition to her teaching schedule that includes teaching classes in Applied Buddhist Psychology, Applied Shamanism, Integrated Energy Medicine, and Depth Hypnosis, she has active practices in Depth Hypnosis and Applied Shamanic Counseling in San Francisco, CA.
