In this lively event, Helen Palmer—joined by educator and author Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D. and Judah Pollack, a business coach who works extensively with the Enneagram—will discuss how the Enneagram can help you both personally and professionally. Palmer will describe the nine personality types that make up the Enneagram and discuss how understanding them can help you open doorways to a broader range of self-expression. You will be able to identify the strengths of your point on the Enneagram and learn how to work with its challenges.

About the Enneagram: The Enneagram is a model of the human psyche that describes nine interconnected personality types. The Enneagram of Personality has been widely promoted in both business management and spiritual contexts. In business contexts it is generally used as a way to gain insights into workplace dynamics; in spirituality it is more commonly presented as a path to higher states of being, essence, and enlightenment.

About Helen Palmer: Helen Palmer is one of the principle teachers in the Enneagram world today. An international bestselling author with books in 28 translations, she taught many thousands in many countries during forty years of focus on the question of Transcendence. In company with David Daniels MD, she co-founded the Narrative Enneagram school in 1988. Each founder brought a wealth of prior experience to the curriculum. Helen as an academic psychologist and practicing intuitive. David as a practicing psychiatrist and Stanford professor. The natural expression of their different orientations joins two different levels of consciousness. The conditioned level of type patterns played out in daily living. And the pure consciousness of intuition that can witness those patterns as they arise.

About Judah Pollack: Judah Pollack is a writer, speaker, and advisor specializing in the art of leadership. He has spent many years studying and working with the Enneagram, Buddhism, and Jungian archetypes to help leaders become more self-aware. He has worked with companies like Airbnb, Google, and Genentech as well as the US Army and The New York Times. He is a regular guest lecturer at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. His work with the Enneagram has taken him as far as Egypt to study its origins and how it made its way into modern life.
