Thupten Jinpa, revered scholar, author, and main English translator for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, joins us for an intimate discussion on the role of compassion and meditation in self-development. He will offer insights on how we can incorporate these practices into our lives as we seek to meet the complexities of modern life. Jinpa has worked tirelessly to preserve the deep esoteric wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism while also making universally helpful aspects of it accessible and relevant to westerners as well as modern Tibetan youth in diaspora. He will discuss the challenges and opportunities inherent in this preservation process and offer a roadmap toward a future informed by the principles of this profound wisdom system.
All proceeds benefit the Children’s Cultural Programs of the Tibetan Association of Northern California.
